Statement of Identity

Greetings fellow Earth Dweller! I am a cis-gender female who has lived experience in polyamorous and pagan communities, LGBTQ+ music/bar scene and have been partnered with people of many and varied LBGTQ+ identities. I do not have lived experience with substance use disorders myself but am serving those who do with all the empathy, dignity and respect that all of us deserve. I am not here to judge anyone on their journey, but to support through it. I would be honored to earn your trust by my words and actions.

Gender Justice Level
  • Advanced: Gender Justice Co-conspirator
About my Gender Justice Level

Transgender men and women, nonbinary folx, and cisgender people. (Clientele and colleagues and partners)

More about my Gender Justice Level

I am continually learning what it means to best serve and be part of this supportive community. If I mess up, I want to be called out. I ask for your forgiveness and am grateful for the effort it takes to correct us learning folks and acknowledge that it shouldn't be necessary. I'm working on fixing me and our screwed-up society so the burden shifts away from folx that are impacted.

Sexuality Justice Level
  • Advanced: Sexuality Justice Co-conspirator
About my Sexuality Justice Level

Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual and Pan/Asexual people and other queer identities. Have worked and been part of lesbian, gay, bisexual, polyamorous and adoptive communities.

More about my Sexuality Justice Level

Right now, SAFETY for the LGBTQ+ community is on my mind most days and my space is explicitly that: SAFE. I acknowledge that I hold a lot of white cis woman privilege as I walk through this world, as I don't get picked on usually. I'm working on being a better ally and not staying comfy in my identities when community members, who have been made to be marginalized, are being abused.

Racial Justice Level
  • Advanced: Racial Justice Co-conspirator
About my Racial Justice Level

Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual and Pan/Asexual people and other queer identities. Have worked and been part of lesbian, gay, bisexual, polyamorous and adoptive communities.

More about my Racial Justice Level

Our ethnicities and socially assigned race make us who we are and I hope that I celebrate those qualities and gifts in whoever I met in my personal life, at work and in community. My racially diverse family members, clients and friends have been my best teachers towards this goal and I am grateful for having been in relationship with you/them. I hope to be an asset in the lives of people who deserve to be celebrated more fully .

Disability Justice Level
  • Intermediate: Cultural Competence
About my Disability Justice Level

Family and clientele : Neurodiverse people, folks with chronic diseases, people with mental health challenges, people with traumatic brain injuries, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Downs Syndrome, Visual Impairments, Substance Use Disorders and nonverbal folks.

More about my Disability Justice Level

My work currently is reducing stigma and inaccessibility to zero. I get so angry when I become aware of even the "little things" that really are big to the people experiencing them. I'm getting better and being loud and squeaky until things are fixed.
