she/hers
I am a white, cis-gender, queer woman. I grew up in and struggled in the lower class before winning a scholarship to an Ivy League school as a young adult. (That was quite a culture shock!) English is my first language, but I am also fluent in Spanish and am the mother of two bilingual, bicultural, multiracial humans. I am autistic. It is a hidden disability, meaning most people do not perceive it, but it is a significant part of my everyday life. I am a member of the Reform Jewish community.
These identities have helped attune me to a range of human experiences, and structures both seen and unseen in our society. Yet I do not know everything. I practice humility and ongoing, active learning in and beyond my role as therapist.
