Small Steps vision is to strengthen the mental health of children and families in New Mexico. Our therapists are trained in supporting children and families on how to develop heathier relationships, heal from traumatic experiences, and live overall healthier lives. Small Steps specializes in providing Infant Mental Health services which serves the youngest members of our society and their caregivers.
Small Steps works with children from birth to 18 years of age using various types of treatment. Our approach focuses on helping children develop socially, emotionally, and developmentally through healthy relationships and building resiliency.
Small Steps’ goal is to help caregivers strengthen relationships with their children through therapies designed to improve caregiver-child relationships and understanding of their child.
